1. The Story World
Willow World is a gentle story universe for young children — built around imagination, nature, and emotional safety.
At the heart of Willow World is Willow, a thoughtful child who notices the small things: sounds in the night, the movement of leaves, the feeling of wind, and the quiet courage it takes to explore something new.
Willow’s stories begin with simple moments and grow into meaningful discoveries.
They are designed to be read slowly, shared aloud, or explored independently — making space for children to feel, wonder, and reflect.
The first story, Willow meets Willow, introduces this world and sets the tone for what follows.
2. Learning with Purpose
Alongside the stories, Willow World is growing into an educational resource for early learners.
In development are foundational-phase reading materials that support:
- early literacy
- phonics and simple sentence structure
- visual storytelling and picture cues
- gentle comprehension through story
These resources are being developed with multilingual access in mind, including:
- English
- Afrikaans
- isiXhosa
The goal is to support children who are learning English as an additional language, while still honouring their home languages.
These learning resources are currently in progress and will grow gradually alongside the story world.
3. Support the Growth
Willow World is being built carefully and thoughtfully — one story, one illustration, one resource at a time.
